Rules

1. Respect yourself, your peers, your teachers, and your surroundings.

2. Raise your hand and silently wait to be called on.

3. All work will be completed and turned in on time.

4. Keep the classroom neat and clean

5. Listen to and follow all directions given by the teacher.

 

Above all, we will act the way that Jesus did and love one another.

*6th grade only* Planners need to be signed by parents nightly or students will receive a checkmark.

The above classroom rules are in place to allow for a positive academic learning environment for ALL students.

Check Marks

Students will receive a checkmark any time he or she breaks any of the classroom rules and/or forgets to do his or her homework. The following consequences will be in place. 

Disciplinary actions will be based on a student’s checks within a 1 week period.

1-2 Check - Warning

1. Inappropriate Behavior not in adherence to school/classroom rules

2. Missing/Late Homework Assignments

​

3 Checks total for any infraction- Lunch Detention

 

4 Checks total for any infraction - Email home and 2nd Lunch Detention 

 

5 Checks total for any infraction - Detention after school

1. *Parents/guardians will be informed 24 hours prior to any after-school detention.*

6 Checks  total for any infraction - Parent-Teacher-Principal Conference

1. At the discretion of the Teacher(s) and Principal, the student will be reviewed for ineligibility.   

Serious misconduct will require communication with the parents and the principal.
