ALL graded assignments will be posted to FACTS no later than a week after the assignments were due. The official and final grades for all assignments will be posted on FACTS NOT Google Classroom. As always, I encourage the students to ask questions about their grades as soon as they notice a discrepancy or problem,
Students will not receive full credit for late, missing, or incomplete assignments. If a student is not able to make a due date, they need to speak with or email the teacher. Students' absences will extend the due date in accordance with the OLOF handbook.
Technology:
Technology will be used by the students and teachers daily. Students will be expected to have the Chromebooks charged and ready to use when asked to do so by the teacher. Students will need to join the Spelling Google classroom to complete assignments. Students are expected to communicate through email, when necessary, with their teacher.
Homework:
Homework is provided to reinforce the concepts students learned that day. Homework will be given regularly, but not necessarily daily. Most assignments begin in class with guidance available and then students are asked to complete the rest for homework.
All homework and important assignment dates are reviewed and will be listed on the board to allow students to understand what is expected of them in advance. Students must write their assignments in the planners given to them by the school or one personally purchased. Students will be challenged to study 10 minutes a day.
Please check planners daily. Homework is not listed on my teacher webpage, but on the board daily, and is the responsibility of the students to keep track of each class day. Students are encouraged to speak with the teacher as soon as possible if they have questions or concerns about specific assignments.
